Introduction
Ivy Vandervorst is an Amsterdam-based DJ known for her stylish feel-good sound and her ability to create the right atmosphere for many settings.
After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Music and Technology at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, she shifted her focus fully to DJ-ing, a passion that quickly evolved into a full-time profession.
Over the years, Ivy has performed for leading international brands such as Netflix, Google, CHANEL, H&M x Mugler, Pandora, Ferrari Dealer Munsterhuis, TAG Heuer and has recently made a Dutch television appearance on the popular show De Bondgenoten (Talpa / SBS6). She has also brought her sets to Amsterdam’s exclusive venues, including the W Amsterdam, Faralda Crane Hotel, A’DAM Tower (The Loft, Ma'dam, A'DAM VR Game Park, A'DAM&Co.), Soho House and the Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club.
Her signature blend of Nu-Disco, Lounge, House and Classic House, always stylish, makes her a trusted choice for luxury events, brand activations and private gatherings.
Ivy’s musical range extends across decades of Disco, Pop and House, often in fresh, modern remixed versions tailored to her clients' wishes. For certain audiences, she also performs Tech House, Techno, Deep House, Afro House, or cheesy fun party music on request.
Her regular performances include residencies at LuminAir (mesmerizing cocktail sky bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel) and MR PORTER (distinguished Restaurant, Bar & Lounge at W Amsterdam)

Overview
Providing excellent quality and service to every client is my top priority.
To maintain this standard, I typically take an average of maximum two bookings per week (mostly one event booking and one residency booking)
carefully selected to ensure a great match, allowing me to devote my full focus to each event.
In my 13+ years as a DJ, I’ve never had to cancel a booking, a consistency my clients trust when planning their most important events.
I’m passionate about DJing at fashion events, boutiques, product launches,
luxury or niche brands across various industries, as well as beautiful venues and special locations.
I perform at a wide range of events, including corporate functions, private celebrations, weddings,
and at upscale restaurants, bars,
and hotels.
My corporate clients range from large international companies to small local businesses.
I’m based in Amsterdam, available for bookings both locally and internationally.
I love creating memorable moments at events and parties, I enjoy the wide variety my work offers!
I maintain a clean lifestyle, I don’t drink, smoke, or use substances, and I follow a vegetarian diet. A healthy lifestyle feels good to me, to stay fully energized and consistent for every event.
I do enjoy to party all night, and I’m totally comfortable and used to being around people who choose a different lifestyle.
Music Genres
My specialty is stylish feel-good music,
Disco, House, Lounge, Classic House, and a selection of popular hits from the last five decades, often with recognizable modern stylish remixes.
Whether you want a party vibe or sophisticated background music.
For events where guests want to communicate and connect,
I choose tracks with an open, spacious sound that create a positive energy
without overpowering conversations.
We will communicate clearly in advance about your musical preferences,
to ensure the music perfectly fits your event.
Equipment
I can work with most Pioneer DJ equipment, though I will always ask in advance which setup will be provided.
Preferred setup:
- PLAYERS: 2 x Pioneer CDJ-3000 (For parties: 3 x Pioneer CDJ-3000)
- MIXER: 1 x Pioneer DJM-900NXS2
If required, for most events in Amsterdam, I could bring and install my basic DJ controller, the Pioneer XDJ-XZ.
Due to my busy schedule, I may not always be able to bring this controller outside of Amsterdam.
Professional Speakers/DJ Booth:
In Amsterdam I'm mostly able to help arrange a company to provide basic technical equipment, such as Speakers, a small DJ booth and a DJ Controller.
Outside Amsterdam I'm sometimes able to help arrange this.

Since 3 years, I’ve been a resident DJ at the mesmerizing LuminAir — the rooftop cocktail bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station. This year marks my third consecutive invitation to perform at their most important yearly event, their New Year’s Eve celebration, where I’ll be delivering a 3 hour set around midnight. Discounted rates are available for venues, restaurants, and skybars with recurring bookings for stylish background music.
My pricing is based on the combination of the following elements:

TRAVEL COSTS
For events located outside the city centre of Amsterdam, travel costs will be added..
These costs cover transportation (car/taxi), fuel, parking fees, and the time it takes me to travel and arrive well in advance of the event.
To provide an example of how travel costs are calculated:
Distances are measured from Amsterdam Central Station, and my indicative rate is €1.50 per kilometer. For instance, if your event is located 50 km away, the total round-trip distance would be 100 km. Based on this, the travel cost would amount to €150, excluding 9% VAT.
MY OWN DJ CONTROLLER
The price for bringing and setting up my Pioneer DJ Controller (XDJ-XZ) Amsterdam is typically: €150 excl. 9% VAT. Due to my busy schedule, I might not always be able to bring/install this controller outside Amsterdam.
RENTAL OF SPEAKERS, DJ EQUIPMENT, DJ BOOTH
Upon request, I can sometimes assist in arranging DJ equipment, speakers, a DJ booth, and basic lighting.These setups are supplied by an external provider.
The prices listed below are approximate and exclusive 21% VAT, though inclusive delivery, and installation and pick-up in Amsterdam. Please note that locations outside Amsterdam will incur a surcharge.
